The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords April 23, 2019 SPR19/805 John J. Wilson, Jr., Esq. City Clerk City of Methuen 41 Pleasant Street, Room 112 Methuen, MA O1 844 Dear Attorney Wilson: I have received the petition of Keith Eddings of The Eagle Tribune appealing the response of the City of Methuen (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Eddings requested a copy of a specifically identified travel document within the possession of the City. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Eddings petitioned this office and this administrative appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the City responded to Mr. Eddings' request with a response sent on April 23, 2019 that included the responsive record. Whereas this appeal was opened as a result of the City not providing the responsive record, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Sincerely, ~tnw~ Rebecca S.
