The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records May 2, 2019 SPR19/0809 Connie S. Wong City of Boston - Fire Department 115 Southampton Street Boston, MA 02118 Dear Ms. Wong: I have received the petition of Paul G. Hardiman, Jr. appealing the response of the City of Boston - Fire Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1 OA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Hardiman requested an identified "bid." The Department denied his request claiming the responsive record is exempt from disclosure pursuant to Exemption (h) of the Public Records Law. G. L. c. 4, § 7(26)(h). While this appeal was pending, Mr. Hardiman notified this office that he received the requested records from the Department and indicated he is withdrawing his appeal. Accordingly, I decline to opine on this matter and I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Paul G.
