Murray Supervisor ofR ecords May 8, 2019 SPR19/0827 Joanne Roomey Salem Legal Department 93 Washington Street Salem, MA 01970 Dear Ms. Roomey, I have received correspondence from Attorney Matthew Thomas appealing the nomesponse of the City of Salem (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O (A); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on October 29, 2018, Attorney Matthew requested "copies of any and all records, Requests For Proposals, Responses to Requests for Proposals and all other materials in the possession of the City of Salem (hereinafter 'the City') relating to the City's mandatory and/or voluntary deferred compensation plan solicitations, including but not limited to Request For Proposals R-02 'Deferred Compensation Management Services."' Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned the City provided Attorney Thomas with all available records responsive to his request. In light of the City's response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Attorney Thomas may appeal the substantive nature of the City's response within ninety days.
