Department of State Police 470 Worcester Road Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Attorney Farrell: I have received the petition of Mason Woolley appealing the response of the Department of State Police (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on April 12, 2019, Mr. Woolley requested "911 calls made by Mason Woolley On June 6th, 2017 to 911." Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Department is working to compile the requested records and intends on providing Mr. Wooley with a written response. Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Mr. Wooley with a response. Said response shall be made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Wooley may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days.
