The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords May 9, 2019 SPR19/912 Donna Shorstall Town Clerk Rockland, MA 242 Union Street Rockland, MA 02370 Dear Ms. Shorstall: I have received the petition of Judith Barahona appealing the nomesponse of the Town of Rockland (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Ms. Barahona requested death and marriage certificates of identified individuals. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Barahona petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Town responded to Ms. Barahona's request with a response sent on May 9, 2019. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Town's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Barahona may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
