The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords May 13, 2019 SPR19/934; SPR19/935 Susan M. Galvin Town Clerk Town of Milton 525 Canton Avenue Milton, MA 02186 Dear Ms. Galvin: I have received the petitions of Cindy Christiansen appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Milton (Town) to requests for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Christiansen made two separate requests for records seeking a "Contract and cover letter of the report for all investigations ... " conducted by an identified individual (SPR19/934). Ms. Christiansen's second request was for correspondence involving "all emails" from five individuals within a specified timeframe (SPR19/935). Claiming to not yet have received a response for either request, Ms. Christiansen petitioned this office and these appeals were opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Town responded to Ms. Christiansen's requests with a responses sent on May 10, 2019. Whereas these appeals were opened as a result of the Town's failure to provide written responses, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Christiansen may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's responses within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
