The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords May 28, 2019 SPR19/1037 Mary Y. Bragg Records Analyst Municipal Police Training Committee 6 Adams Street Randolph, MA 02368 Dear Ms. Bragg: I have received the petition of Andrew Quemere appealing the nomesponse of the Municipal Police Training Committee (Committee) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Quemere requested "[a]ll current policies, memos/bulletins, and other informational materials ( e.g., PowerPoint presentations, instructional videos, etc.) related to the drugs fentanyl and carfentanil." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Quemere petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Committee responded to Mr. Quemere's request with a response sent via mail May 24, 2019. Whereas the basis ofthis appeal was opened as a result of the Committee's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Quemere may appeal the substantive nature of the Committee's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
