G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Herman requested "any and all complaints filed with the hackney unit of the Boston Police Depaiirnent for the period March 1, 2018 to Febrnary 28, 2019." The Department has provided a p01iion of the requested records already. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department intends to provide Mr. Herman with the remaining responsive records after meeting with the members of the Hackney Until staff in the corning week. Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Mr. Herman with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.rna.us.
