Murray Supervisor of Records June 17, 2019 SPR19/1175 Anthony Turi Town Clerk Town of Norfolk One Liberty Lane Norfolk, MA 02056 Dear Mr. Turi: I have received the petition of Christopher Agostino, Esq. appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Norfolk (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney Agostino requested seven categories ofrecords within the possession of the Town. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Attorney Agostino petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Town intends on proving a written response to Attorney Agostino, as well as any responsive records within the Town's possession no later than Monday, June 24, 2019. Accordingly, the Town is ordered to provide Attorney Agostino with a response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Attorney Agostino may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety days.
