G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Sanabria requested an internal affairs investigation and disciplinary records regarding an identified officer. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Sanabria petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department will provide Mr. Sanabria with a response to his request within 10 business days. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Sanabria may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
