Murray Supervisor of Records June 13, 2019 SPR19/1184 Michael McGovern Town Administrator Town of Shirley 7 Keady Way Shirley, MA 01464 Dear Mr. McGovern: I have received the petition of Friedrich Lu appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Shirley (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Lu requested records concerning building permits. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Lu petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Town responded to Mr. Lu’s request with a response sent on June 13, 2019. - Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Lu may appeal the . substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rhea Rebecca S.
