The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords July 23, 2019 SPR19/1353 Agapi Koulouris, Esq. General Counsel Department of Criminal Justice Information Services 200 Arlington Street, Suite 2200 Chelsea, MA 02150 Dear Attorney Koulouris: I have received the petition of Tim MacDonald appealing the response of the Department of Criminal Justice Information Services (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § IOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. MacDonald requested various categories of records related to criminal offender record information (CORI) access. The Department responded to his request by providing various CORI related forms. Unsatisfied with the Department's response, Mr. MacDonald petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention of a member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department provided Mr. MacDonald with another response to his request in a letter dated July 19, 2019 and included various responsive records. Whereas this appeal was opened based on the Department's prior response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. MacDonald may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's July 19th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
