The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords July 11, 2019 SPR19/1361 Joseph F. O'Connor Chief of Police Concord Police Department 219 Walden Street Concord, MA 01742 Dear Chief O'Connor: I have received the petition of Corey Spaulding appealing the nonresponse of the Concord Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Spaulding requested records "regarding a concern of safety" relating to herself within the Department's possession. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Spaulding petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department responded to Ms. Spaulding's request with a response sent on July 10, 2019. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Spaulding may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~ Rebecca S.
