Massachusetts Depaiiment of State Police Office of the Chief Legal Counsel 470 Worcester Road Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Attorney DeAngelis: I have received the petition of Marc Aldana appealing the nomesponse of the Massachusetts Depaiiment of State Police (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Aldana requested copies of police reports involving criminal charges. Having received no response, Mr. Aldana petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated July 22, 2019. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Depa1iment's lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Aldana may appeal the substantive nature of the Depaiiment's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
