Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board P.O. Box 4547 Salem, MA 01970 Dear Attorney Burke: I have received the petition of Dana Pierce appealing the nomesponse of the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board (Board) a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Ms. Pierce requested records for the recent reclassification of an identified sex offender. Having received no response, Ms. Pierce petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated July 25, 2019. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Board's lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Pierce may appeal the substantive nature of the Board's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
