G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Bender requested daily logs within the possession of the Department. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Bender petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department responded to Mr. Bender's request with a response sent on August 9, 2019. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
