William Gallant Records/Traffic Division Waltham Police Department 155 Lexington St Waltham, MA 02452 Dear Sgt. Gallant: I have received the petition of Ray Lardie appealing the response of the City of Waltham's Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Mr. Lardie sent a request to the Department regarding incident reports concerning an arrest. Mr. Lardie stated that Department explained to him that they needed a signed release form to provided records. Mr. Lardie appealed the Depaiiment's response to this office on August 14, 2019. This office was provided with a response on August 27, 2019, on behalf of the Department, which was also provided to Mr. Lardie. In light of this response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Lardie may appeal the substantive nature of the response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
