Mu,rny Supervisor of Records September 3, 2019 SPR19/1683 Susan Audette Town of Amherst Town Hall 4 Boltwood A venue Amherst, MA O1 002 Dear Ms. Audette: I have received the petition of Chrissy Ryan appealing the response of the Town of Amherst (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Ryan requested "[a]ny and all documentation and activities on efforts made to hire a Finance Manager as referenced ... " The Town responded with records responsive to the request. Unsatisfied with the Town's response, Ms. Ryan petitioned this office and SPR19/1683 was opened as a result. Ms. Ryan appeals on the basis the Town's response was "a partial response." Subsequent to the opening of the appeal, this office was notified that a supplemental response was provided to Ms. Ryan dated August 21, 2019. Ms. Ryan may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
