G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney Allen requested records "concerning the internal affairs and/or Anti-Corruption Unit records pertaining to ... " an identified individual. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Attorney Allen petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the .intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department responded to Attorney Allen's request with a response sent on August 26, 2019. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
