Jon Crannell Malden Police Depatiment 800 Eastern A venue Malden, MA 02148 Dear Lieutenant Crannell: I have received the petition of Taylor Henley, Esq. appealing the nonresponse of the Malden Police Department (Depatiment) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney Henley requested several categories ofrecords within the possession of the Department. Accordingly, the Office is ordered to provide Attorney Henley with a response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Attorney Henley may appeal the substantive nature of the Depatiment's response within ninety days.
