Records Access Officer Bristol County Sheriff's Office 400 Faunce Corner Road North Dartmouth, MA 02747 Dear Attorney Rousseau: I have received the petition of Collin Dias appealing the nonresponse of the Bristol County Sherriffs Office (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Dias requested "[a]ll 911 calls and transcripts that relate to or mention ... " two identified individuals as well as " ... any other records ... " that concern the same two individuals. Unsatisfied with the Office's response, Mr. Dias petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. The Office responded to'Mr. Dias' request on August 29, 2019 in which they note that they "are not a 911 call center. As such, no records exist that are responsive ... " to Mr. Dias' request. Mr. Dias responded explaining that "[t]hey did not tell me if there are other records ... in their possession" aside from "911 related records." As such, Mr. Dias filed a second appeal. Shortly thereafter, the Office sent a further response to Mr. Dias addressing this matter. Whereas the Office has provided a supplemental response addressing Mr. Dias' concerns, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Dias may appeal the substantive nature of the Office's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
