Murray S11pe111isor of Records September 26, 2019 SPR19/1890 David Procopio Massachusetts State Police 470 Worcester Road Framingham, MA 01702 Dear David Procopio: I have received the petition of Melissa Hanson appealing the nonresponse of Department of State Police (Depaiiment) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Hanson submitted a request for records within the possession of the Department relating to "payroll records for a selection of employees." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Hanson petitioned this office and this appeal, SPRI 9/1890, was · opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Department intends on providing the requested records to Ms. Hanson. Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Ms. Hanson with a response made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of each response to this to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
