Floor Boston, MA 02111 Dear Mr. Ivimey: I have received the petition of Debra Falzoi appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Department of Veteran Services (Department) to a request for public records. G, L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Ivimey requested several categories of records within the possession of the Department. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Falzoi petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department tesponded to Ms. Falzoi’s request with a response sent on September 30, 2019. Whereas this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Falzoi may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
