SPR19/1988 Suzanne Cioffi Martha’s ‘Vineyard Transit Authority 11 A Street Edgartown, MA 02539 Dear Ms. Cioffi: I have received the petition of Colman Herman appealing the nonresponse of the Martha’s Vineyard Transit Authority (Authority) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Herman requested public records on September 11, 2019 regarding the 2019 salary of the Martha Vineyard Transit Authority’s General Manager,. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Herman petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Authority intends on providing the requested information to Mr. Herman. Accordingly, the Authority is ordered to provide Mr. Herman with a response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order without delay. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Herman may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days, See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Dlossa Rebecca S.
