G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Mr. Herman requested several categories of records within the possession of the Department. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Herman petitioned this office and these appeals were opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department responded to Mr. Herman's request with a response sent on October 7, 2019. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider these administrative appeals closed.
