Records Access Officer City of Boston — Public Records Division | City Hall Plaza, Room 615 Boston, MA 02201 Dear Attorney Williams: I have received the petition of Pat Bender appealing the response of the Boston Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.MLR. 32.08(1). Specifically on August 23, 2019, Mr. Bender requested the Department’s “daily log as required by G. L. c. 41, § 98F, which discloses the name, address and charges for adults arrested for offenses which can be publically disclosed for the date or date range: 8/16/19-8/22/19.” This request was the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR19/1862 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (September 26, 2019). Subsequent to the opening of this appeal I learned that the Department provided Mr. Bender a link to a website that contains the requested information. Mr. Bender informed this office that “. .. the Boston PD log posted online meets my needs.” Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
