The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records November 4, 2019 SPR19/2152 Sgt. Brenda Perez Brockton Police Department 7 Commercial Street Brockton, MA 02302 Dear Sgt. Perez: I have received the petition of Scott Mattson appealing the nonresponse of the Brockton Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Mattson requested "the complete statement of Mary G. Newbe1i made to the Brockton Police Department." Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Mattson a response to his request. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Mattson may appeal the substantive nature of the Department response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
