Director of Public Records Records Access Officer City of Boston 1 City Hall Plaza, Room 615 Boston, MA 02201 Dear Attorney Williams: I have received the petition of Colman Herman appealing the response of the City of Boston (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on October 12, 2019, Mr. Herman requested “any and all communications between the city assessor’s office and the following institutions as they relate to the city’s payment in lieu of taxes (PILOT) program for the period July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019.” While this appeal was pending, Mr. Herman emailed this office on October 29, 2019, indicating that he wished to withdraw his administrative appeal.
