Deputy Chief — Appeals Unit Eastern District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett’s Office Ten Federal Street Salem, MA 01970 Dear Attorney O’ Sullivan: I have received the petition of Dr. Bharani Padmanabhan appealing the nonresponse of the Eastern District Attorney’s Office (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Dr. Padmanabhan requested all records in the Office’s possession that describe who with the Office agreed to the sealing of the entire docket pertaining to an identified prosecution. Having received no response, Dr. Padmanabhan petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, this office _was notified that a response was provided, dated November 6, 2019. Whereas this matter was. opened based upon the Office’s failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Dr. Padmanabhan may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.MLR. 32.08(1).
