The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords November 19, 2019 SPR19/2241 Joseph Pessolano, Esq. Records Access Officer Hampden County District Attorney's Office 50 State Street· Springfield, MA O1 103 Dear Attorney Pessolano: I have received the petition of Cynthia Fernandez appealing the response of the Hampden County District Attorney's Office (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on October 19, 2019, Ms. Fernandez requested "access to and copies of any expenses, requests for payment or reimbursement, or any other associated costs related to Sonja Frank proceedings and the Amherst Drug Lab, from January 1, 2013 to present." Based on Ms. Fernandez's November 2, 2019 email, it is unclear whether she received the response from the Office. Given that the basis of the appeal is unclear, I decline to issue a determination at this time. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1)(f) (all petitions for appeal shall be in writing and shall specifically describe the nature of the requestor's objections to the response or failure to provide a timely response). Ms. Fernandez may provide this office additional information as described above and this office will proceed accordingly. Sincerely, ~ I T ~ .
