The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords November 22, 2019 SPR19/2265 Attorney Adrian Walleigh Department of Housing and Community Development Office of the General Counsel 100 Cambridge Street, Suite #300 Boston, MA 02114 Dear Attorney Walleigh: I have received the petition of Paul G. Redlund appealing the nonresponse of the Department of Housing and Community Development (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically on October 7, 2019, Mr. Redlund requested a copy of "the signed legislation/directive that orders the removal of the push/pull emergency call systems in the apartments for the elderly at Tonset Woods, Orleans Housing Authority." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Redlund petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Current Appeal Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I · learned that the Department responded to Mr. Redlund' s request with a response sent on November 21, 2019. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department's lack of response to Mr. Redlund's request, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Redlund may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). 1}~'tf:1~AA ~ cJ- ~r~ay-,- - --- Supervisor of Records cc: Mr. Paul G.
