Nolan of WBZ-TV WSBK Boston appealing the fee estimate provided by the Office of the Attorney General (AGO) in response to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § IOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 18, 2019, Ms. Nolan requested "complaints against Tesla for their Solar Panel products ... from January 1, 2016 until October 17111 2019." The AGO provided a response on November 7, 2019 that included a fee estimate of $300.00. Ms. Nolan informed this office she objected to the AGO's response and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the AGO and Ms. Nolan communicated and Ms. Nolan agreed to a narrowed search for responsive records.
