Executive Office of Public Safety and Security 1 Ashburton Place Room 2133 Boston, MA 02108 Dear Attorney Mullaney: I have received the petition of Ms. Sophia Brown appealing the nonresponse of the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Brown requested “any and all information regarding the gender and racial breakdown of sworn officers of the Massachusetts - State Police for 2014-2018 inclusive.” Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, I learned that EOPSS provided Ms. Brown a response to her request. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Brown may appeal the substantive nature of the EOPSS’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
