The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray S11pe111isor ofR ecords November 27, 2019 SPR19/2314 Bill Taupier Department of Industrial Accidents 1 Congress Street, Suite 100 Boston, MA 02114 Dear Bill Taupier: I have received the petition of Stevan Johnson appealing the nomesponse of the Department of Industrial Accidents (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically on October 30, 2019 Mr. Johnson requested: • A Workers' Compensation policy number since on or after July 25, 2002 for each, if any, of the 42 taxicab companies listed on the attached pelf formatted file attachment which appears to have zero (0) "issued and outstanding" shares of stock; • A DIA Form 153 submitted by any Corporate Officer or Director, pursuant to 452 CMR 8.06, since July 25, 2002 for any taxicab company of the 42 which appears to have zero (0) "issued and outstanding" shares of stock listed on the attached pd/formatted file attachment. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department is aware of this appeal and is working on a response. As of the date of this letter, it is my understanding that the Department has not provided Mr. Johnson a response to his request for records. Conclusion Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Mr. Johnson with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations without delay. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
