Wheaton appealing the nonresponse of the City of Boston Public Records Division (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Wheaton requested various records from the City. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Wheaton petitioned this office and these appeals were opened as a result. In an email dated November 18, 2019, Attorney Williams indicates he did respond to Mr. Wheaton's requests. Attorney Williams informed this office, "[t]he City has been in regular contact with this requester as it seeks to provide records responsive to his request." B.ased on Mr. Wheaton's appeal and correspondence regarding the October 11, 2019 requests, it is unclear whether the City responded to Mr. Wheaton's requests. The City must clarify this matter. Conclusion Accordingly, the City is ordered to provide Mr. Wheaton with a response provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law, and its Regulations without delay. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office.
