The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords December 27, 2019 SPR19/2510 Julie A. Ciollo, Esq. Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority 10 Park Plaza, Suite 7760 Boston, MA 02116 Dear Attorney Ciollo: I have received the petition of Jim Haddadin appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (Authority) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Haddadin requested several categories ofrecords within the possession of the Authority. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Haddadin petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the request for an appeal, I learned that the Authority responded to Mr. Haddadin's request with a fee estimate sent on December 23, 2019. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Authority's lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. I understand Mr. Haddadin has appealed this fee estimate. A new appeal, SPR19/2539, has been opened to determine the reasonableness of the fee estimate. Sincerely, ~ Rebecca S.
