Coller appealing the response of the Town of Saugus (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Coller submitted a request for a copy ofrecords pertaining to the "(q]uarterly Town's Profit/ Loss Statement" involving the Town's Department of Public Works. As a result of the response provided, Mr. Coller petitioned this office and this appeal was opened. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Town intends on providing written a response to Mr. Coller to his respective request. Accordingly, the Town is ordered.to provide Mr. Coller with a response made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of each response to this to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Coller may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's responses within ninety days.
