Murray Supervisor of Records January 16, 2020 SPR20/0033 Charles Shea Town of Rochester Office of Town Counsel 1 Constitution Way Rochester, MA 02770 Dear Mr. Shea: I have received the petition of James Holbrook appealing the response of the Town of Rochester (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Holbrook requested several categories of records within the possession of the Town. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Holbrook petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, | learned that the Town responded to Mr. Holbrook’s request with a response sent on January 16, 2020, Given this response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Holbrook may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
