The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebec.ca S. Murray Supe111isor ofR ecords February 12, 2020 SPR20/0205 D01ma Swanson Massachusetts Treatment Center 30 Administration Road Bridgewater, MA 02324 Dear Ms. Swanson: I have received the petition of Peter Duarte appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Treatment Center (Center) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Duarte requested several categories of records within the possession of the Center. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Duarte petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the request for an appeal, I learned that the Center responded to Mr. Duarte's request with a response sent on January 7, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Center's lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Duarte may appeal the substantive nature of the Office's response within ninety (90) days. 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
