G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Shaffer requested "former officer Timothy Caulfield's IA files including but not limited to all complaints made about the officer." Claiming to have not received a sufficient response, Ms. Shaffer petitioned this office. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, I learned that the City has provided Ms. Shaffer with a supplemental response to her request, dated February 21, 2020. Accordingly, whereas this appeal was opened based upon the City's lack of a written response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain outstanding, Ms. Shaffer may appeal the substantive nature of the City's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
