L. 66, § lO(d)(iv) as well as to charge an hourly rate over $25. On January 30, 2020, the Department received a request from Geoffrey Pironti for several records in the Department's possession. Conclusion In its February 5, 2020 petition to this office, the Department requests "permission to charge the following fees associated with the search and segregation of the requested records." Per the Public Records Law, the Department is required to furnish a copy of this petition to the requester. G. L. c. 66, § lO(c). · I find that the Department has not demonstrated that it provided a copy of this petition to the requester as required by G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv)(2).
