The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records March 4, 2020 SPR20/0330 William J. Doyle, Esq. Massachusetts Department of Transportation 10 Park Plaza Suite #3910 Boston, MA 02116 Dear Attorney Doyle: I have received the petition of Rothamanthos Kidonakis appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Department of Transp01iation (Depatiment) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on January 31, 2020, Mr. Kidonakis requested records within the Department regarding all project and district meeting minutes related to the Longfellow Bridge rehabilitation project. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Kidonakis petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR20/0330, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department provided a response to Mr. Kidonakis's request on March 3, 2020 and March 4, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the lack of response by the Department, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Kidonakis may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Mr. Rothamanthos Kidonakis One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre• pre@sec.state.ma.us
