The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray S11pen1/sor ofR ecords March 5, 2020 SPR20/0355 William J. Doyle, Esq. Massachusetts Department of Transpo1iation 10 Park Plaza, Suite 3910 Boston, MA 02116 Dear Attorney Doyle: I have received the petition of David Bixby appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Bixby requested the MassDOT report on public airports and their economic benefits. Claiming to not yet have.received a response, Mr. Bixby petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that MassDOT responded to Mr. Bixby's request with a response sent on March 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of Mass DOT' s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Bixby may appeal the substantive nature of Mass DOT's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
