The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division

Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records

March 3, 2020 SPR20/377

Michelle Powers, Chief Princeton Police Department 8 Town Hall Drive Princeton, MA 01541

Dear Chief Powers:

I have received the petition of John Rousseau appealing the nonresponse of the Princeton Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c, 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Rousseau requested records regarding himself. Having received no response, Mr. Rousseau petitioned this office.

Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated February 24, 2020. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department’s failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Rousseau may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.MLR. 32.08(1).

Sincerely,

Rebecca S. Murray q
