The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S, Murray Supervisor of Records March 2, 2020 SPR20/378 Patrick Swanick, Chief Wayland Police Department 38 Cochituate Road Wayland, MA 01778 Dear Chief Swanick: I have received the petition of John Rousseau appealing the nonresponse of the Wayland Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.MLR. 32,.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Rousseau requested multiple records regarding himself. Having received no response, Mr. Rousseau petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated February 27, 2020. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Rousseau may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
