Law Department Chelsea City Hall 500 Broadway, Room 307 Chelsea, MA 02150 Dear Attorney Fisher: I have received the petition of Jamie Truman appealing the nonresponse of the Chelsea Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Truman requested the block lists of this Department for all its social media accounts. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Truman petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Depa11ment responded to Ms. Truman's request with a response sent on March 9, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department's lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Truman may appeal the substantive nature of the Depai1ment's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
