The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords March 6, 2020 SPR20/0388 Kimberly Roche, Esq. Dupere Law Offices 94 North Elm Street, Suite 307 Westfield, MA 01085 Dear Attorney Roche: I have received the petition of Craig Swinson appealing the nonresponse of the Richmond School District (District) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on February 1o th, Mr. Swinson requested "any forms titled 'disclosure by a non-elected employee of financial interest and determination by appointing authority as required G L c. 268A, § 19' as filed by Peter Dillon." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Swinson petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the District provided Mr. Swinson a response to his request on March 6, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the District's lack ofresponse to Mr. Swinson's request, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Swinson may appeal the substantive nature of the District's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Supervisor of Records cc: Craig Swinson Peter Dillon One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre• pre@sec.state.ma.us
