The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords February 28, 2020 SPR20/0398 Chief Dennis G. Perron Chief of Police Town of Hubbardston 7 Main Street Hubbardston, MA 01452 Dear Chief Penon: I have received the petition of Jamie Truman appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Hubbardston (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, on January 14, 2020, Ms. Truman requested "[l]ists of all accounts blocked by any official Hubbardston Police Department social media account (Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms have these lists so providing them would not require generating a new record)." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Truman petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Town provided Ms. Truman a response to her request on February 28, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Town's lack ofresponse to Ms. Truman's request, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Truman may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
