The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records February 28, 2020 SPR20/0401 Mario Costa Town of Norwood - Police Department 137 Nahatan Street Norwood, MA 02062 Dear Mr. Costa: I have received the petition of Jamie Truman appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Norwood Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on Januaiy 15, 2020, Jamie Truman requested records within the possession of the Department regarding "Lists of all accounts blocked by, or banned from commenting on, any official Norwood Police Department social media account or page." Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Jamie Truman petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR20/0401, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department provided a response to the requestor on Februaiy 27, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of a lack of response by the Department, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Jamie Truman may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~ Rebecca S.
