The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords March 12, 2020 SPR20/0407 Michelle Goodwin Records Access Officer Norton Police Department 82 East Main Street Norton, MA 02766 Dear Ms. Goodwin: I have received the petition of Jamie Truman appealing the nonresponse of the Norton Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on January 15th, Ms. Truman requested "[l]ists of all accounts blocked by, or banned from commenting on, any official Norton Police Department social media acc~unt or page." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Truman petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department provided Ms. Truman a response to her request on March 2, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department's lack of response to Ms. Truman's request, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Truman may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
